An adult family home serves as a community-based long-term care setting, blending elements of a traditional family residence, assisted living, and nursing home. It caters to seniors and community members with special care needs, offering a familial environment coupled with trained staff and necessary facilities.
North Bend Senior Living is meticulously designed as an adult family home, featuring spacious layouts tailored to accommodate residents’ mobility requirements. Our floor plan boasts wider doorways and hallways, all residing on a single level. Multiple living areas and flex spaces cater to diverse resident needs, ensuring comfort and accessibility.
Our Medicaid policy stipulates that residents must privately fund their stay for a minimum of four years before transitioning to Medicaid coverage.
Our services include routine visits from nurse practitioners, podiatry care, dental services, psychiatry, and convenient mobile lab and urgent care options. We collaborate with local home health, hospice, and therapy providers for comprehensive care.
We do not offer one-on-one sitting services, alcohol or drug detoxification, secure perimeter facilities, bariatric care, or resident transportation services beyond appointment scheduling.
We exclusively prepare home-cooked meals with careful consideration of residents’ preferences and dietary requirements. Our menu, which rotates monthly, caters to medically prescribed diets, incorporating cultural and religious dietary needs.
We encourage residents to utilize our designated long-term care pharmacy for consistent and timely medication supply, packaged individually for quality control. All medication administration is overseen by trained staff, under the supervision of our registered nurse.
During the day, two caregivers are readily available to attend to residents’ needs, complemented by a dedicated night shift caregiver for overnight assistance. A registered nurse resides onsite, is accessible for medical emergencies, and ensures comprehensive care for all residents.
